Deleting your IslooLoop data

You can delete your account and everything attached to it at any time. There is no waiting period and nothing personal is kept behind.

If you can still sign in

This is the option that lets you choose what happens to your posts.

• Open You → Settings → Delete account (/settings).
• Choose whether your confessions are deleted outright (the default) or left up but detached from you, showing as “Deleted user” with no name, photo or route back to you.
• Type DELETE to confirm. It happens immediately.

If you signed in with Facebook

You can ask through Facebook instead, and you do not need to be able to sign in to IslooLoop:

• In Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites.
• Find IslooLoop, then choose Remove and tick the option to delete the data the app holds.
• Facebook notifies us, we delete straight away, and Facebook shows you a confirmation code. Paste that code into the link Facebook gives you — or add ?code=YOURCODE to this page — to see the status.

A deletion requested this way removes your confessions and comments as well, since you are not here to tell us otherwise and deleting is the safer reading of a deletion request.

If you cannot sign in and did not use Facebook

Email privacy@islooloop.pk from the address you signed up with and say you want your account deleted. We will confirm once it is done.

What actually gets deleted

• Erased immediately: your name, email address, profile photo, bio, city or area, birth year, every interest and dislike you picked, who you follow and who follows you, any Facebook friend matches, your privacy-policy acceptance record, and every sign-in token we hold from Facebook or Google.
• Your posts, comments and reactions: deleted, or severed from you and shown as “Deleted user” — your choice when you delete from settings.
• Kept: an empty placeholder row with a random address, so that moderation history does not break. It holds nothing about you. Safety reports you filed about other people stay open for review, with your name removed.
