Rules for using IslooLoop
The boundaries that protect honest expression without allowing anonymity to become cover for harm.
Effective 15 September 2026. These terms are written for the current IslooLoop MVP: public text confessions, comments, reactions, follows and moderation.
The short version
IslooLoop is a city-scoped social app for posting and reading public confessions. Be honest, but do not use anonymity as cover to hurt people. You are responsible for what you post, and we may hold, remove, limit, suspend or ban accounts when needed to keep the app safe.
Who can use IslooLoop
You must be at least 14, able to follow these terms, and signing in with your own Facebook or Google account. Do not create accounts for someone else, impersonate anyone, sell accounts, or try to get around a suspension or ban.
Your posts and comments
You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it here, you give IslooLoop permission to host it, show it in feeds, copy it as needed for backups and moderation, and display it to other users according to your settings.
Confessions and comments are public inside the app. They are anonymous to other users by default, but not anonymous to moderators. If something is reported or flagged, moderators can see the account behind it.
Messages
Messages start as requests. A recipient can accept, decline, block or report a request, and can pause or limit new requests from settings. Messages are private to the people in the conversation unless someone reports the conversation, in which case moderators may review nearby message context for safety.
Messages expire after 24 hours, but screenshots and screen recordings are still possible. Do not send secrets, threats, blackmail, private information or anything you would not want the other person to save.
What is not allowed
- Harassment, bullying, threats, hate, or targeting a person or group.
- Sharing someone's private information, photos, location, phone number or email.
- Sexual content involving minors, exploitation, coercion or blackmail.
- Impersonation, scams, spam, automated scraping or attempts to manipulate feeds.
- Illegal content, instructions for harm, or content that creates a real safety risk.
- Trying to break, probe, overload or bypass the app, its login, or its moderation tools.
Moderation
IslooLoop may screen posts and comments, hold them for review, remove them, hide them from feeds, limit features, or suspend and ban accounts. Self-harm, suicide, abuse and urgent safety language may be pushed to a priority queue for moderators. That queue is for human review; it is not a promise of emergency response.

Reports
Reports are for content that may break the rules or create a safety risk. Do not use reporting to harass people or bury opinions you dislike. The reported person is not told who reported them, but moderators can see report history to spot abuse. Conversation reports are confidential too, and may include message context for review.
Coming-soon features
Some controls may appear with a Soon badge before they launch. These previews are read-only, do not redirect anywhere, and cannot be used until IslooLoop releases them.
Service changes
IslooLoop is an MVP and may change, pause or remove features. We may also stop serving the app, block access, or remove content when required by law, safety, abuse prevention or operational limits.
No guarantees
The app is provided as is. We work to keep it available and safe, but we do not promise uninterrupted access, perfect moderation, preserved drafts, or that every post will remain available forever.
