Answers without the runaround.
Clear help for privacy, anonymous messaging, reports, account access, and your data.
What do you need to know?
Can other people see who posted a confession?
No. Confessions are anonymous by default. Other members do not receive your name, email, profile photo, or a link connecting your anonymous posts.
Are private messages anonymous too?
Yes. Both participants appear under anonymous labels. A message request must be accepted before conversation begins, and participant names and photos are not exposed.
When do messages disappear?
Messages expire after 24 hours. Someone can still take a screenshot or photograph their screen, so never send information that could identify or endanger you.
What happens when I report something?
A protected moderation queue receives the report and relevant context. The person you report is not told who reported them. Moderators may take action when content breaks safety rules.
Can moderators identify an anonymous account?
Authorized moderators can access limited account information when needed for reports, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or urgent safety concerns. Other users cannot access it.
Does IslooLoop track my exact location?
No. Location is optional and limited to a city or area you type, never an address. IslooLoop does not need your live or precise location for the feed.
How do I block or report a conversation?
Open the conversation and use its block or report controls. Blocking stops further contact. Reporting can include nearby message context so moderators can review the concern safely.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings and choose Delete my account. You can also use the public data-deletion page when you cannot access your account.
Why can I see features marked Soon?
They are read-only previews of planned features. They do not charge you, open another page, or activate until IslooLoop releases them.
I cannot sign in. What should I do?
Confirm your Google or Facebook email is verified, retry in a private browser window, and check that cookies are enabled. Contact support if access still fails.
